Bryan McMillan
Bryan McMillan is a Senior Business Transformation, Operations & Strategy Executive. He began his career at Arizona State University, where he received a BA in Political Science and Business. During this time, Bryan received the Regents Merit Scholarship and participated in the Golden Key National Honor society (1989-1994). He was on the Dean’s List for outstanding academic performance, was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha and the National Political Science Honor Society.
Bryan continued his education at Harvard Business School where he enrolled in the Advanced Leadership Program. This program focused on the evaluation, analysis, and execution of complex business challenges. Here, he developed a heightened awareness of the extraordinary financial conditions and external forces shaping competition in a global market. Bryan also attended the University of Texas at Austin for an advanced program in Executive Strategic Marketing. Here he examined competitive selling strategies and segmentation of markets, developed effective product, pricing, distribution and communication strategies, among many other valuable skills.
Bryan’s executive career began at Oppenheimer & Co. where he was the Executive Director of Corporate Executive Services. After nearly three years, he moved to Strkyer, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. Bryan worked his way up fromTerritory Manager, Stryker Endoscopy (2002 – 2004) to Corporate Solutions Manager (2004 – 2005) and Director of Business Development (2005 – 2007). In 2007, he became the company Vice President.
In 2010, Bryan became the President, Global Spine Business at Orthofix. In this role he provided executive leadership for a $570M publicly traded, global, medical device company focused on repair and regenerative solutions for the spine and orthopedic markets. In 2012, Bryan joined IMDS as the President, Co-Innovation and in 2014 he joined CoorsTek Medical as the President.
Bryan is the Principal of The Issachar Group, an executive consultancy that reverses negative business trends through the execution of a unique value proposition that maximizes shareholder value.
In 2017, Bryan joined DJO as a President. He is responsible for the Regeneration group, which includes restructuring, stabilizing, and reviving Premarket Approval (PMA) product and Payer Services business that delivers the company’s highest gross margins (93.4%) within an intricate and Class-3 regulated market.
In 2018, Bryan founded Families With Holes, Inc., a foundation that provides families who have experienced a recent loss with valuable support services.
